Former Ambassador of Colombia to the EU and NATO Mr Felipe García-Echeverri to join Hague as Associate Partner

Hague Corporate Affairs is pleased to announce that former Ambassador of Colombia to the EU and NATO Mr. Felipe García-Echeverri is joining its ranks as Associate Partner.

A seasoned lawyer, international arbitrator and former university professor, he has reputed experience in diplomacy and international trade. In his new role, Mr. García-Echeverri will support Hague’s Latin American clients to advance their interests towards the European Union, as well as Hague’s international clients with interests in the Latin America and Caribbean’s (LAC) region.

Mr. García-Echeverri

After a brilliant career in Colombia as a senior civil servant, serving notably as Vice President for Colombia’s National Electoral Council, Mr Mr García-Echeverri served as Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as Chief of the Colombian Mission to the European Union and NATO from 2019 to 2022. During his tenure, he promoted the efforts of Colombia and its private sector on sustainability issues – such as in the conservation and preservation of forests and the fight against deforestation – as well as in security and defence.
