Julia Menéndez Lada is Associate at FGS Global.
In the summer of 2023 Julia moved to Brussels to do a summer internship at K&L Gates, an American law firm. During her internship she discovered a passion for public affairs, as she realized the potential of advocacy for shaping the legislative framework and defending clients’ interests. Julia sees public affairs as a combination of politics, law and business for which her legal and economic backgrounds are strong assets.
At Hague, she supports advocacy and strategic communication activities in the fields of defence, technology, agri-food and sustainability. Among others, she works on our Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) projects.
Born in Spain, Julia studied two degrees at university: Law and Business Administration and Management at the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid. After graduating, she undertook to deepen her knowledge of the EU for what she enrolled in a Master’s degree in EU Studies at the European Institute of Bilbao. She recently completed her online Master’s degree at UNIR and is now preparing to gain admission to the Bar in order to qualify as a lawyer in Spain.
She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and Italian.
