Frans van Steenis

Frans van Steenis is a highly experienced director at both listed companies and government institutions, and has gained his consulting experience as a consulting partner at Deloitte. In his various positions he’s obtained great international experience and is well suited in the management of change processes, mergers and cultural differences.

With his broad network in the official, political and administrative world, Frans guides Hague’s clients through the Dutch administrative practices. He leads companies into the art of influencing, strategic reorientation and change processes, and he knows like no other how to get everybody in agreement.

Background

In business, Frans is known for his experience in reorganisation and mergers, the implementation of a ‘change of course’ is his specialty. For example, Frans led the merger between the almost 300-year-old Dutch State Lottery and the Lotto, to become the Dutch Lottery. He’s built up his administrative experience at large (inter) national organisations. Here, too, he came across different cultures. He was at the helm of tourism and aviation (TUI / Holland International), the international world of temporary recruitment (Adecco Group), consultancy (Deloitte), the Chambers of Commerce and the Dutch State Lottery.

Frans has worked and lived in several countries, but he can’t stay far from The Hague. He was born in Scheveningen and is now living in Kijkduin. According to Frans, in The Hague, there’s a strong connection made between the business community, the government and the citizen.
