Ewout Wentink

Ewout is Junior Advisor at Hague Corporate Affairs. He has a broad political and social curiosity and monitors developments relevant to Hague to interpret the dynamic political arena. He follows developments in the field of sports, games of chance, and digitization closely.

Communication, subject knowledge, and a strong relation are crucial for Ewout to meet all challenges. By looking at a problem with adequate knowledge and from different perspectives, a shared goal can be created. For this, a strong connection and continuous dialogue are of high importance. This creates a sustainable relationship needed to achieve the common goals. Then, when new challenges arise, the foundation of a strong relationship is already present.

Background

During his bachelor’s degree in International Business & Management, Ewout gained various international experiences. Firstly, by studying for a semester at the University of West-Scotland. And secondly, carrying out various assignments in Aruba for the financial non-profit organization CEDE (focused on bringing people and resources together for sustainable development). Subsequently, Ewout obtained a master’s degree in Political Science – International Relations at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

During his studies, he started his career in the banking sector in which he fulfilled various roles with a particular focus on the international client group. Ewout also gained expertise within the Media Relations & Public Affairs team of ABN AMRO. This has given him an insight into both communication and Public Affairs within a large organization. He now uses the knowledge he gained to strengthen the Hague team.
