Willemijn van Leeuwen is an intern at Hague Corporate Affairs, now part of FGS Global.
As part of the internship team, Willemijn is involved in monitoring the news and tracking key political and societal developments. Her daily tasks include analysing relevant news sources, following parliamentary debates, and keeping colleagues informed about important updates. She has a strong interest in the political landscape and the factors that influence decision-making.
During her undergraduate degree in History at Utrecht University, Willemijn followed the International Relations in Historical Perspective track, focusing on political conflicts. She then pursued a Master’s in Politics and Parliament at Radboud University, specialising in Dutch political history.
Willemijn works four days a week as an intern at FGS Global in The Hague, while dedicating the remaining day to writing her master’s thesis. She sees this internship as a valuable opportunity to deepen her understanding of Dutch politics and gain experience in the field of corporate affairs.
