Sofia is an intern at Hague Corporate Affairs.
As an intern at Hague, Sofia focuses on monitoring political and societal developments. She is committed to reviewing relevant news sources, following debates in Parliament, and informing her colleagues of significant developments in the media and politics on a daily basis. Her interest in politics and policy was sparked at a young age.
Sofia hopes to deepen her knowledge of corporate and public affairs at Hague and gain practical experience in the consultancy world.
Sofia developed her interest in politics and international relations during her European Studies degree at Maastricht University (BA). She then decided to broaden her knowledge with a Master’s in International Law and Global Governance at Tilburg University (LL.M.). During her internship at Hague, Sofia aims to further specialise in how public affairs strategies can be applied to deliver effective policy advice and tackle societal issues.
